Yet occasionally they (and other embarrassingly stupid bugs) do,
particularly with very large and complex applications.

But any programmer who would not take it upon himself or herself to track
down such a bug, and come up with a fix, while the first end-user to find
it stood upon one foot, belongs in another business. Underwater basket
weaving, perhaps.
