We are using IMPLEMENTER for our change management and it also let you specified/override the parameter of the command when needed. The problem are: 1) Sometime developer forgets to override the parameter for actgrp because most of the service program are created in *caller in our shop. 2) There is a feature in IMPLEMENTER that it will recompile/recreate related object automatically for you when a file change occurred. This is to prevent level check. However, it uses that default setup of the command, which is *caller. -----Original Message----- From: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Keith Carpenter Sent: Wednesday, August 04, 2004 11:33 AM To: RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries Subject: Re: actgrp for service program With a change management system like Aldon CMS or Turnover, you can specify the creation parameters for the service programs (and other objects) there.
