I will have to leave Barbara to answer that.  It may even be a
bug/limitation in the compiler.  Reason I think that is that if you hard
code the dimension of the array Dim(20) or whatever, then your scheme will
work, as I would expect it to do.  But when the %Div etc. is added instead
of the hard-coded number, then the compiler suddenly decides that it doesn't
know about MaxPtyAlpha etc.
