Eric, That was the problem. In doing my seperation and removing code
from 1 source file, I inadvertantly removed the INDDS line. It didn't
give me a compile error, so I didn't notice it. Now I can move forward
and see if I can get the rest of this changed.

Thanks

Did you by chance add an INDDS to your Workstation F spec? Perhaps your
RPG indicators aren't mapping to your DSPF....

Buck,
There ae no F-Specs at all. The original program accessed the data via
SQL, so I turned those processes into functions The bound program
doesn't have anything in it other than the data processes. Ie I had a
subroutine that 'Fetched a record' now it's a procedure. I am using
Data Structures and I can see the data in the data structure's both
after the fetch in the bound program and after it returns in the calling
program. I can see it being written to the subfile and the RRN is 12 at
the point of the EXFMT. SFLDSP and SFLDSPCTL are on.

Are there two F-specs, and two open data paths? Is it possible that the
bound program is filling _it's_ subfile, and the display program is
trying to display _it's_ empty subfile? I have never actually tried to
do this, so I have no idea how the working code would look. I guess my
first stab would be to use share(*yes) on the open, but I'd have to do
some reading on shared ODB for display files.

Either that, or have the bound program pass back the data (in a DS or
something) and have the display program actually do the writes to the
subfile.
