Yep that's it.  Trying to show the subfile without turning on the display 
indicators.  Lol, the other day I wrote a pgm to do a subfile, had it all 
done, went to test, it was blowing up.  Couldn't figure out why.  After 
reading the dump, checking all my indicators, checking my rrn's, turns out 
during my loop process for loading the subfile, I was loading the fields 
ok, just never ever wrote the subfile.  Totally missed that step.  Lol.

I think this means you need to turn on the indicator associated with
either (or both) SFLDSP and SFLDSPCTL before you WRITE or EXFMT the
associated record formats.
