I tried to do the same thing before and did not find a way for it. The closest method I know of is to use Program-To-System field to control the field attribute. The program can exam the hex value to determine the attribute. (Which is kind of like the hidden field that you are doing). -----Original Message----- From: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of michaelr_41@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, June 04, 2004 10:25 AM To: rpg400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Attribute Status Anyone know of a way to retrieve the status (protected, blinking, whatever) of a field or record in a subfile? We're using hidden fields now and I couldn't find anything in the feedback areas. Any ideas appreciated. TIA... --
