I think this belongs in the domino list, but here it goes. Since the QMSF job was not running you should not have any problems, I think your server was already using SMTP So not to worry. Now as for keeping it from starting. In the QSYSWRK subsystem is a auto-start job Job Job Description Library QZMFECOX QZMFEJBD QSYS you can remove the following and it will not start. so you can RMVAJE SBSD(QSYSWRK) JOB(QZMFECOX) Be aware that you may have to do this after any future os/400(i5/OS) upgrades.
