Hello community,
my question may be somewhat odd but I can't help myself.

I have a server-based application consisting of a group of batch jobs. There
may be dozens of jobs in the group depending on transaction traffic; I mention
it for better illustration of the situation.
All the jobs call the same RPGLE driver program at the very beginning that runs
in a named activation group say DRIVERAG; the driver pgm is in the call stack
all the life of job.
What I worry about are the numbers of DRIVERAG activation groups in the jobs.
When I start the group of jobs, most have same actgrp number - 0000000048, but
some have 0000000049. I thought that the system assigns a unique number to
every new activation group that it creates.

Can this fact cause conflicts between the jobs what I have no idea about? Or
can I ignore it?

I read ILE Concepts manual forwards backwards but didn't find the answer.
We run V5R2.
Thanks in advance for attention and help. Wish the community's common knowledge
knew the answers.

Otto Steffan
