Jon, I didn't realize it was alphabetical if no binder source was used. But yes, I see that now. Also, if the original poster is at the point where they need to create the binder source, they may (as you know) be able to use RTVBNDSRC to have the system manufacture the starting binder source for them. Of course depending on how they modules are distributed this may or may not work for them. I have never had an issue, however. -Bob Cozzi -----Original Message----- From: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jon Paris Sent: Friday, May 21, 2004 8:27 AM To: rpg400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: Service Program Export Order >> How important is the order of the following in service programs? >> Prototype declarations >> Procedures >> Binder exports Nothing in the source has any influence, other than the actual exports themselves. The signature is determined by the names and sequence of the exported items. The sequence is either alphabetical - if you do not supply binder source - Or the sequence determined by the binder source. If your original service program was not created with binder source, then you will need to create a binder source for the *PRV signature with the exports in alpha order and then copy that list and add new exports to the end, for the *CURRENT signature.
