Thanks. Just yanked out all of my *loval's in this program and replaced them with *blanks. Can anyone think of a reason that you would not want *loval treated like *blanks with the *trim operation? If so, you think there's a chance that a DCR might do any good? Yeah, I know, go with varying. It's just that they don't behave well as parameters with existing programs.
