The problem is that if the user walks away from their desk and then we don't want the sensitive data on display like that. After the first screen there is a second screen with the data they want and then they can enter more. It seems to be safer to Non display it as they type. I was wondering what others do in such a case. > -----Original Message----- > From: Haas Matt [mailto:Matt.Haas@xxxxxxxxxxx] > Sent: Friday, March 19, 2004, 1:14 PM > To: RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries <rpg400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> > Subject: RE: Sensitive data on screen > > So, what you're saying is the customer should be able to key the value in but > not see it? Would you do this via RPG or in the DDS itself. > Thanks, > Rob400 > _______________________________________________ > This is the RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries (RPG400-L) mailing list > To post a message email: RPG400-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, > visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/rpg400-l > or email: RPG400-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx > Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives > at http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l. > > > _______________________________________________ > This is the RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries (RPG400-L) mailing list > To post a message email: RPG400-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, > visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/rpg400-l > or email: RPG400-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx > Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives > at http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l. >
