Thanks for info, Mike! Interesting (to me). I think what you say speaks to the high-level views of folks here. Some-a the discussion is very task specific how-to's... But also a lotta the discussion on this list is along the lines of "these are better ways and these are worse, as far as general approaches". Along the lines, "teach a guy TO fish, and he can feed hisself ferever" to butcher an old saying...;-) Course, there's probably as many, or more, "proper" ways to code as there are to fish. j (goin' fishin fer some dinner, m'self.ie, gotta finish a small project fer mah client tonight, hopefully) | -----Original Message----- | [mailto:rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Wills, Mike N. On Tek-Tips we don't | really argue as much. Quite a few times I ask a quick question, and three | days later the subject is finally being dropped. Not that that is bad, but | it can be overwhelming. Like I said before, there are a few really helpful | people on Tek-Tips, they may even be on this list, but there also you can | red-flag something and that entry will be deleted so you can stay | on subject | easier.
