I don't know... I feel I get more responses here. But I also think there is more arguments over the best way to do something. On Tek-Tips we don't really argue as much. Quite a few times I ask a quick question, and three days later the subject is finally being dropped. Not that that is bad, but it can be overwhelming. Like I said before, there are a few really helpful people on Tek-Tips, they may even be on this list, but there also you can red-flag something and that entry will be deleted so you can stay on subject easier.
