I know this has been a while, but I'm finally getting back to it. I've
applied group ptfs for SF99501 through the current level 13 and am up to
date on Cum PTFs. However I'm still having the same problem:

When I try to create an SQL Alias for a Member in a physical file (using
STRSQL), I receive a message that the Alias name already exists. When I
try to do a "Select ..." on the Alias name, I get a message saying that
the original Physical file cannot be found.

    > create alias cgilib/frnmast for cgilib/cafpmast (FRN)
FRNMAST in CGILIB type *FILE already exists.
    > select * from cgilib/frnmast where moccup > 30
CAFPMAST in CGILIB type *FILE not found.

I can get around the problem by overriding the file first, then doing my
SQL work, but it really irks me that this doesn't work as advertised.

If anyone has any other input it would be most appreciated,

Joel
