I wonder if I need to physically arrange my cursors in this order: declare1 declare2 open1 open2 fetch1 fetch2 close1 close2 Rob Berendt -- Group Dekko Services, LLC Dept 01.073 PO Box 2000 Dock 108 6928N 400E Kendallville, IN 46755 http://www.dekko.com rob@xxxxxxxxx Sent by: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx 01/21/2004 08:53 AM Please respond to RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries <rpg400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries <rpg400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> cc Fax to Subject Re: Why is SQLSTT="Call stack entry does not exist" Buck, Try doing two different cursors. callp declare1 callp open1 callp fetch1 callp close1 callp declare2 callp open2 callp fetch2 callp close2 Because in my first one the debug works fine. It's in the second one that it tanks. I did a quickie test here, where I had everything in a procedure: callp declare callp open callp fetch callp close With the appropriate SQL in each proc. Because the procs are in this physical order, the precompiler works on it. With STRDBG, I can look at SQLSTT after every proc call, and within each proc. V5R2.
