Remember that each field has one byte preceeding it to set the field

Another self-solved puzzle.  Apparently, if you specify position 1 for
anything, you get an extra line of blanks after each subfile record.  I
imagine it is probably in the manual somewhere, but I can't seem to find it.


So, if you're going to make a subfile, don't use position 1 people.
