Yes you are correct, but there are two schools of thought at work.

The first thinks that nobody is writing new applications in RPG (hence no
serious efforts to provide RPG examples for new database features.  Mostly
Java and VB!

The second thinks that RPGers are old stick in the muds who won't use
embedded SQL in any volume no matter how good the pre-compiler.
