Let this be a lesson to those who "seperate business and display logic" in their web apps. I found one rogue program a few steps down in the call level that DIDN'T set on LR. One.. probably the only one I ignored since every other program did (I didn't write these, they're business programs that have been around for years). I look at the open files, and the F specs of this one program, and SAS... exactly the files. Now, the Vertex and tax files were open too, but we don't have control over that (I don't think) and there is only one library. But, with the other files we use (PO files, etc..) there are libraries set up for test, and then one for each country (US, england, etc...). So because of this one program, it was messing up the files that were being used... Happy to find the problem... like they say, programs do EXACTLY what you tell them. Just that I only work on the web interfaces for this project, not the business logic.. But, it goes to show you need to know details of that as well.. Time for a rob roy or 7... and I'm out of bitters...darn! :)
