Yes, this I understand this.  In the context of the
question I stated it was a normal RPG program without
USROPN, setting on LR, which means it should be opened and
closed by the system.  I understand I can close it and open
it, but in this case the file is remaining open when it
shouldn't be.

I guess I mispoke a little.. sorry for the confusion.  If
you have any ideas on why the file is remaining open, I'm
all ears.  :)
