Hi, once upon a time there was a SNTP library with a client and a server program available for download, i guess from iSeries network. It's rather simple to use, not able to operate fully automated in batch, but that can be done by (given, almost) every RPG programmer. The DSPF says A*%%TS SD 19980909 090438 MCRAVITZ REL-V4R2M0 5769-PW1 so it has to be Mike Cravitz' work. Googleing http://www.google.com/search?q=%22mike+cravitz%22+%2BSNTP shows that he obviously has it in a book in appendix B. http://www.iseriesnetwork.com/str/books/UniqueTOC.cfm?NextBook=185 it seems to be online available (not free, though) at http://techupdate.books24x7.com/toc.asp?bookid=2034 So if you happen to be an iSeries network member, try to find it there, or maybe you can take a sneak preview at appendix B at the latter link. -- Mit freundlichen Grüssen / best regards Anton Gombkötö Organisation und Projektleitung Avenum Technologie GmbH Wien - Salzburg - Stuttgart http://www.avenum.com
