Please help me ask the questions!! (and thank you for posting. I was beginning to feel like the only one that hasn't mastered this yet.) The responses are valuable and I understand them (mostly). But like all the other times I've walked down this path when I get home from the seminar it no longer makes sense. Still not discussed by anyone yet is how to group and document these pieces so the function can be found later and reused. --------------------------------------------------------- Booth Martin http://www.MartinVT.com Booth@xxxxxxxxxxxx --------------------------------------------------------- -------Original Message------- From: RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries Date: Monday, October 27, 2003 3:19:33 PM To: RPG400-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: Starting out with sub-procedures On behalf of myself and other lurkers who learn a tremendous amount on the list, and who are now in the process of learning how to use sub-procedures, PRs, PIs, etc., I'd like to thank Booth for asking the questions we all wanted to ask! And thanks, as well, to all of those who've already crested the learning curve and are willing to mentor us along. Regan L. Barr Cintas Corp. Systems Systems Analyst BarrR@xxxxxxxxxx
