On the printer file Fspec do you have it set up (in the RPG) to handle
overflow?

Message . . . . : Printer overflow line detected for file &1.
Cause . . . . . : Either page footings or page headings may be generated
by
  the program.

Subject: I/O error CPF5004 on printer file

I wrote a small program to read a work file and print the output. I used a
print file because I need to print the barcode for the item number. I am
getting the following error message about half way through the file:
"I/O error CPF5004 was deteceted in file FSM01RP" (print file)
Job Log:
Function check. RNX1299 unmonitored

I have recompiled all the programs

Any suggestions?

Thanks
