Carel, I agree. other than colouring what it thinks (at the time) variables, objects or verbs and other reserved words a different color, WDSc and even SEU are far more advanced (and sometimes even a little anal-retentive) in thier syntax checking capablilities than any graphical code editor i've seen. rick -------original message--------- <snip> And on the topic of syntax checking: Can any one tell me a modern free formatted programming language that does syntax checking while entering code?
