As you can not execute a module, it is only a building block for a program, you can not specify an ACTGRP for the module. If you are thinking of CRTBNDRPG (PDM option 14), it creates a module in QTEMP (CRTRPGMOD) and and then creates a program (CRTPGM), two distinct steps. To create a service program you use the command CRTSRVPGM and you can then specify the activation group. I /COPY the follwing H SPEC into my RPG programs so that I can use the PDM option 14 to create my non-service programs. H BndDir('ILE_UTIL') Option(*SrcStmt:*NoDebugIO) H Copyright('World Class Information Systems, Inc. 2003') /If Defined(*CRTBNDRPG) H DftActGrp(*No) ActGrp(*Caller) /EndIf Support for the *CRTBNDRPG parameter has been fairly recent (V5R1?) so if you are not current you might not be able to make use of the "/If Defined" Also, if you are new to service programs, I would advise you to review binder language if you haven't already. <THarteau=hNZAmSK30DGruEYLHyeBMNBPR1lH4CV8@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote in message news:<OFD8BB0C47.1FC2C550-ON86256DB0.004E4FC1-86256DB0.004EBDBA@xxxxxxxx OM>... > > Hi, > I have created my first service program that contains 7 > different modules.
