You don't use CRTBNDRPG to create a module for a service program, so the
DFTACTGRP(*NO) option is not available.
You may add the ACTGRP('XXX') keyword, although in some situations even that
doesn't seem to want to cooperate.

Subject: Service program & activation group
Hi,
I have created my first service program that contains 7 different
modules. I want to add DftActGrp(*NO) ActGrp(*Caller) to the H spec. I
want it there so it doesn't get forgotten on the compile. Do I need to put
this in each module that is than bound to the service program? If that is
the case, do I need to recreate the service program (its isn't used
anywhere yet)? Thanks for the help. The more I use ILE the better I'm
understanding it.
