Can you explain a little more what you're doing? How about posting
just the line of code that's giving you the error?

If you are on Version 5, then you can declare a parameter as a data
structure by specifying the LIKEDS keyword. On earlier releases,
just declare the parm as a Char parm, or use the LIKE keyword.  Then
pass the data structure on the parm.

What might be your problem is if the DS length is different than the
length of the parameter definition itself.
