Where are you loading TbBufAry from? I take it you defined the whole trigger buffer as an array. Wouldn't doing this be the same thing? D OUTDS E DS ExtName(XXX) Based(TbAftPtr) TbAftPtr = %addr(parm1) + NewOff + 1; Rob Berendt -- "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." Rather that copying the data from the buffer to a data structure and back, set the data structure equal to the address for the buffer offset. Example: D OUTDS E DS ExtName(XXX) Based(TbAftPtr) TbAftPtr = %Addr(TbBufAry(TbAftOfs + 1)); Then all you have to do is update the fields in your data structure and exit the trigger. I hope this helps, Schadd Gray Damon Technologies, Inc. www.damontech.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Eric A.
