It's a hard thing to try to train new people with a zero dollar budget. There are so many variables, including the environment (S/36-like, S/38-like, interactive with subfiles, without subfiles, batch, OPNQRYF...) fundamental programming concepts (structure, encapsulation), fundamental database (normalisation, access paths), runtime (overrides, CL, OCL)... the list goes on. The point is that MY training material is very unlikely to be useful to you. Not to mention that my company would have a fit if they found out that I sent out (for free) the training materials we laboured so long to produce. Is your trainee having a specific problem that we might help with? --buck
