I know this has been discussed before but still cannot get the desired
results. I am not using the API but have some programs that are attempting
to send an error message like this:

CALL 'QMHSNDPM'
PARM Msgid
PARM Msgf
PARM Msgtxt
PARM 65 Msglen
PARM '*DIAG' Msgtyp
PARM '*' Msgq
PARM 3 Msgstk
PARM Msgkey
PARM Msgerr

Program MAINT (ILE) is calling program EDIT (ILE) with the following call
stack (just before the message is to be sent. I can see the message in the
joblog but not on the error subfile line 24. When these programs were OPM,
they worked just fine. I know I have to change the stack and have tried
from 1-6 to no avail.

       Program
Rqs or
Lvl Procedure Library Statement Instruction
       QUOMAIN QPDA 10DB
  5 QUOCMD QSYS 037D
     < P_MKBCMMR1 MKALIBA
       MKBCMMR1 MKALIBA 0000000484 (program MAINT)
     < P_MKBCMME1 MKALIBA
       MKBCMME1 MKALIBA 0000000465 (program EDIT)
       QTEVIREF QSYS 04D7

Should I bite the bullet and attempt to write my first subprocedure?

Thanks for your help...
Eric
