I was just trying to explain the scenario, in which, I found my program works abnormally.. I am aware that LR indicator is purely an RPG stuff..and it has got nothing to do with the ACTGRP. My question was just beneath those 2 lines. > "Once the SRVPGM is activated in a ACTGTP, Does it (SRVPGM) remain there, >though the Associated Program ends Normally?" Matt answered for that..the Answer is > Yes, the service program remains loaded even after the calling program ends. There may be a way > to make it automatically unload but if you do that, you give up some performance. Check the ILE > manuals (or even search the archives -- I'd be surprised if there isn't more info about this > topic in them) for more on this. Thanks. The system doesn't know anything about *INLR - that's purely an RPG internal thing that controls whether files are closed on the return and whether initialization is redone on the next call. (Besides that, your program might have several modules each having their own *INLR.) _______________________________________________ This is the RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries (RPG400-L) mailing list To post a message email: RPG400-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/rpg400-l or email: RPG400-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l.
