Hey, I have a RPG program(A) that invokes a CL Program(B) which does an OPNQRYF and copies the records to a temp file using CPYFRMQRYF command. The problem is, A is an ordinary subfile program with a message SFL defined in line 22, the footer of the screen occupies both the 23 and the 24th line. I get the message "Member XXTMPF added to file XXTMPF in QTEMP." whenever the CL is executed and in turn when the CPYFRMQRYF is executed. Now when the subfile has been rebuilt(from the temp file) and the control returns to the screen I get the above mentioned message in the Message SFL as my first message! (my program messages also appear but they go to the second line of the message sfl...it bloody irritating..:-) ) Is there a way to get rid of these system process completion messages from coming in to my PGMQ? I dunno if this problem belongs out in a different list..but what the heck....:-) Can someone please enlighten me on this??
