Hi A batch job abend after displaying this error. This error happened when all the programs were COBOL. Does the same happen when they are RPG? ********************************************************************** Additional Message Information Message ID . . . . . . : MCH4436 Severity . . . . . . . : 40 Message type . . . . . : Escape Date sent . . . . . . : 06/17/03 Time sent . . . . . . : 06:17:21 Message . . . . : Activation group export conflict. Cause . . . . . : The activation of one or more programs has resulted in conflicting specifications for activation group exports. The partial name of the export is FL-FILE-DATA in activation group X'000004EB'. The specified item was already allocated within the activation group and a subsequent export with a greater length specification was encountered. ********************************************************************** Scenario is as said below:- 3 programs use the data that is read on one of the program. PGM1 calls PGM2 to load the data from file into program work variable (Defined as EXTERNAL). After call to PGM2, PGM1 called PGM3. I need to make some modification for PGM3. PGM3 was modified and a object was created in test environment (say TESTLIB). PGM1 and PGM2 are in QA environment (QALIB). This error occurs when PGM3 is in TESTLIB and other 2 programs are in QALIB. When I create object of PGM1 and PGM2 in TESTLIB, everything works fine. All 3 programs are in same activation group (QILE). Only library differs. What could be the problem here? Please help!!!
