RE: binder language, binding directories, bind by copy/reference

I really think that discussion will do the archives a lot of good.  There
wasn't much there as far as concepts - only direct questions about a couple
things.

I know that i'm a whole lot clearer on it all because of it.

There are rules which if followed can allow you to make transparent changes
to procedure interfaces. Since Scott has done such good job so far of
explaining these concepts I'll let him continue. If I think I can add
something to what he says then I'll say more.
