3 three basics are checked OK. I definitely checked this during this
process. I tried copying the name and pasting it into the call, I did a
dsppgm after unsuccessfully calling it interactively.
Again, I also created a simple CL and placed it at the same location in the
sub-procedure with the same results to the clp.
My experience in the past is that it is usually a simple stupid mistake that
causes the problem. This time around I'm stumped partly because, though
I've been in RPG for 20+ years, I've only been working with ILE &
sub-procedures a few months. This is also my first application utilizing
embedding SQL.
By the way, this new program call is only going to be a temporary addition
designed to delete some records based on a condition in the LRN320 module.
Then I was planning to remove it for production. Therefore I could make it
work a different way, but I would like to know what the problem is for next
time as well as this time.
Thanks
Don McIntyre
