In addition to authority to the DBG commands, don't you also need *Change authority to the program object (or *USE and *SERVICE)? Perhaps Implementer has assigned public access at lower authorities than you need. It's compiled dbgview(*all) When I start debug, I can set a breakpoint - so I can see the source. Also, if I compile the pgm myself I can set a breakpoint and it does stop there. So I know I'm setting it at the correct place. I can't set a watch until it's running. And I can't step into it! I'm not sure whether Implementer does a move or crtdupobj. I was hoping I was missing something obvious but it doesn't sound like it. I'll try to get an answer from MKS.
