I also miss POP, Valene.  I never understood why it wasn't converted to the
400.  Not only did it have much better features than PDM, but every aspect
of it was completely customizable.  Being from that background, I also
prefer the single source file, but alas, most 400 shops I've worked at use
the separate source file system and it's impossible to get a shop to change
from whatever they have grown accustomed to.  One shop I worked at managed
to pick the worst attributes from both methods.  They used a single source
file, but prefixed rather than suffixed their source members.  So,
naturally, all related sources were scattered all over the file.  Yuch!
