If your solution could be solved using OPNQRYF then I would suggest to go the embedded SQL route. You don't need keyed files when working with SQL. The file doesn't have a key field, so I am trying to decide if I should create a Logical file over the file, or should I use OPNQRYF. I want to use OPNQRYF, but how do I can't get the RPG program to compile since the file that the program is using isn't keyed. Any suggestions? _______________________________________________ This is the RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries (RPG400-L) mailing list To post a message email: RPG400-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/rpg400-l or email: RPG400-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l. _______________________________________________________________________ Disclaimer and confidentiality note Everything in this e-mail and any attachments relating to the official business of SAFAIR (PTY) Ltd is proprietary to the company.
