Hi Everyone

I recently compiled a series of programs with OPTIMIZE(*FULL). I did this
to get the max CPU speed I can get out of these production programs. In
test I compile all my programs with OPTIMIZE(*NONE) so I can debug them.

I know that debug won't work properly with OPTIMIZE(*FULL). For example,
entering debug command 'Eval *INLR' may not show the right value of *INLR
(or other variables) at my breakpoints for a OPTIMIZE(*FULL) program

My question is: If the production program gets hard halt program error and
I give the message a 'D' will the program dump created show the current
values of the variables??? I am assuming the answer is yes because
otherwise hard halt dumps would be useless for OPTIMIZE(*FULL) production
programs.

Has anyone had successful experiences with using hard halt dumps on
OPTIMIZE(*FULL) programs??

Thanks in Advance
Dave
