RE: SQL in Free Format

The declare cursor seems to have to be physically before any reference
to it in the source, but the close routine can come before the fetch
etc.

Don't know if the same is true for procedures.

Isn't there some strange thing that if you use subroutines for your sql 
that you have to put operations in a particular order because of the 
#@$%ing precompiler?
