Probably a matter of preference or maybe need. I don't receive a lot of numbers with editing so using the V5R2 BIF's work fine. I hadn't seen Barbara's procedure until today and really haven't applied a lot of thought to which I would do in a situation where I had to contend with editing. For simplicity I would probably do as you have done. I threw in the %xlate to strip out the commas per the example in the reference, and it works fine now. Does Barbara's procedure do something more or better? Buck, I appended the v5r2 solution to that FAQ. Is there a way I can edit my submission? (There are no line breaks in my paragraphs, something I assumed the FAQ-O-Matic would handle automagically.) - Dan --- "Chevalier, Rick" <Rick.Chevalier@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > It happens to all of us.
