Seeing as I'm at v5r2, I am unclear as to why Barbara's procedure might be a 
better solution for
this.  I threw in the %xlate to strip out the commas per the example in the 
reference, and it
works fine now.  Does Barbara's procedure do something more or better?

Buck, I appended the v5r2 solution to that FAQ.  Is there a way I can edit my 
submission?  (There
are no line breaks in my paragraphs, something I assumed the FAQ-O-Matic would 
handle
automagically.)
