Maybe some day.  I'm not sure how they're going to get along; I think it's
going to depend on how MS views them.  I'm not sure how Microsoft is going
to look at a project that basically removes the Windows requirement for .NET
applications.  My cynical view was that .NET (or more precisely , C# and the
CLR) were the MS attempt at a Windows-only Java.
