When we were going to v3r1 I was trying to sell my boss on the virtues of
RPGIV syntax and I mentioned the ability to code arithmetic expressions
using algebraic notation rather than with the RPG opcodes as a readability
plus.  He didn't think it would be much of an advantage.  He's actually a
nice guy, but he'd had a lot of RPG II experience.
