Thank you Jon for straightening me out - you're more "in the know" than I am and I appreciate the info. Does this mean that CODE as we know it today will no longer be enhanced by IBM in lieu of the Eclipse plug-in? If so, I agree with you on making CODE open-source. Bob Cagle IT Manager Lynk, Inc. This is sorta-kinda true. It should read "just announced" - it has not been released. The _replacement_ for CODE (i.e. the new Java based lpex with iSeries extensions) is now shipped as a plug in for the Eclipse based workbench in V5 (Eclipse 2). It has verifier capabilities and a few more CODE features. It was also shipped in WDSc V4 (the current release) but had very little function. However - in both the current V4 release _and_ the upcoming V5 the original CODE is still shipped and will continue to be until they get all the function in lpex. There are many of us who would like them to either keep shipping CODE or open-source it since the footprint required by WDSc is huge (unless you're planning on buying a new machine). Minimum recommended 512Mb, 1.6Gb of disk and a high end PIII or better - and that is the _minimum_ spec!
