Peter, Buck, Scott, Evan, You are correct, I overlooked the lay out of the data structure completely. Anyway, in my case recently I had to take the alternative route, when one spoolfile had to be directed to two different printers. The problem was, that three programmes generated the same spool file and in the same batch job as well. My solution is not the best, as I could have used overrides; now I look at the user data/open programme info. Regards, Carel Teijgeler. *********** REPLY SEPARATOR *********** On 10-2-03 at 10:15 Peter Dow wrote: >Hi Carel, > >>From IBM Knowledge Base 22013019 >/* EXTRACT SPOOLED FILE DETAILS FOR DATA QUEUE ENTRY */ >CHGVAR VAR(&JOBNAME) VALUE(%SST(&SPLFDTA 13 10)) >CHGVAR VAR(&JOBUSER) VALUE(%SST(&SPLFDTA 23 10)) >CHGVAR VAR(&JOBNBR) VALUE(%SST(&SPLFDTA 33 6)) >CHGVAR VAR(&SPLFNAME) VALUE(%SST(&SPLFDTA 39 10)) >CHGVAR VAR(&SPLFNBR) VALUE(%BIN(&SPLFDTA 49 4)) > >Note that the spool file number is in positions 49-52, in binary format.
