Actually, CODE is a "plug-in" for WDSC.  And you're right, it is too
slow!  IBM really needs to improve upon that if they want all of us old
green-screeners to switch!

Back to the point - I have seen absolutely nothing wrong with /Free and
have not seen or heard of any compiler errors.

Bzzzttt... wrong, try again ... CODE is dead, long live WDSC ... for now
at
least, until IBM comes up with the next replacement.

Personally, I don't use CODE or WDSC for RPG coding on the 400 ... I
don't
like CODE's paradigm and WDSC is too slow (even on my 2ghz desktop
machine).

But we digress :)
