I have made an observation here, but it appears that most of the members
of this mailing list are the programmers who are not just willing, but
desire to push our own abilities.  I believe this to be a *must have*
skill to achieve longevity in our chosen careers as RPG professionals.
Learning, utilizing, and becoming expert at ILE RPGIV, including /free,
is a part of this process.  

If the PC side of the programming world moved as slow as the
AS/400/iSeries programming community, we would all still be using DOS
machines running QBasic routines on 8088 processors!

SEU is dead!  Go with CODE.  RLU bites!  Use CODE Designer.
Fixed-format RPG will be around for a long time, but as far as new
development is concerned, it is also dead!  Use ILE RPGIV and /Free.
