Hi.

Some of my fields in a database are defined to allow Null fields.

Yet when I try to update those fields and update the record the fields are
still Null. This does not happen in all programs.

My "H" specs look as follows

H DFTNAME(ORDSNDADD)

H DATFMT(*ISO)

H ALWNULL(*USRCTL)

H option(*NODEBUGIO)

When I change the field definition to not allow NULL and enter a default
value *blank and then use the same program to update the fields, it does
update the fields.

I do need to make a difference between a null field and a *blank field and
also a Null date and a 0001-01-01 field.

So my fix was not a solution, just a test.

Your help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
