There is a utility MONITOR SUBMITTED JOBS in the NEWS400/iSeries Network
archives that can assist with this.

It will allow you to submit jobs 1 - 20?, monitor for the complete of each of
the jobs, resume processing if all have completed normally.

Obviously you have to "construct" how you want to the jobs to work.

Subject: High Performance parallel run programming

Dear all ,
Does anyone on the list has any experience doing parallel run programing ?
background :
suppose we have one million record should be read and it will take ex. 5 minute
, so if we want the job to be done in 1 (one ) minute, so we should run pgm1(
to read record 1-200),pgm2 ( to read record 201-400) and so on until pgm5( to
read 801-1000) and all the programs should be run on the same time .
Would you be so kind share the experience .
Thank you
Regards,
Sas
