Same procedure name, but different set of arguments. Not sure how that would work in ile though. Maybe the procedure has two names, a unique export name and the overloaded name the rpg code knows the procedure by. When the rpg compiler creates the module, it would determine which overload to call based on how the call arguments match up with the proc arguments. Then use the unique export name as the actual name of the proc to call. Steve
